One person was found dead and another person is still missing in the Gulf of Mex-
ico after a fishing trip went wrong. The two men were in a 12-foot boat and were overdue
from a fishing trip said to have begun on Saturday morning, Nov. 22, near Shell Island,
Florida. A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Florida MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew
located the capsized boat at approximately 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Joseph Johns, 44, the owner
of the vessel, was located, deceased, by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commis-
sion (FWC) crew in Waccasassa Bay, north of Yankeetown, Florida.
