Best New Florida Song Contest Set
Now is the time to submit your Florida song. Songs may be entered from now until
December 31, 2010, and submitted to The Will McLean Best New Florida Song Contest,
P.O. Box 350335, Grand Island, FL 32735. For more information, for a copy of the contest
rules call 352-465-7208. The song must be about Florida and must be clearly identifiable.
Christmas Celebration of Lights at Park
December 20 -24 and 27, 2010,5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Suggested donation of $2.00 for
adults and $1.00 for children. Sponsored by the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park
The community is invited to come out and enjoy the park decked out for the holidays with
thousands of twinkling lights and Christmas decorations during this multi-evening event. A
variety of entertainment will be scheduled and refreshments will be available.
Gift Wrapping Fund Raiser
Adopt A Rescued Pet will sponsor their annual gift wrapping fundraiser starting
December 18th and continuing thru December 24th. We will be at the Crystal River Mall
Dec 18th & 19th from 3PM to 9PM, Dec 20th thru the 22nd from 6PM to 9PM, Dec 23rd
12PM to 9PM and Dec 24th from 10AM to 9PM.
