Inglis woman arrested for possession of oxycodone
An Inglis resident, Kathleen N. Poole, 52, of Sandi St., was arrested by the Inglis
Police Department at 5:45 p.m., Dec. 10, at 50 Hwy. 19 South. The arrest report stated that
Poole was stopped by an officer who was aware of a Levy County arrest warrant for her.
The warrant was verified. In a routine search, a small plastic container found in her purse
contained two and one-half 30 mg. oxycodone pills, a schedule II controlled substance.
Poole stated that she has a prescription for the drugs at home, but not in her possession.
She was arrested on the warrant for petit theft from Oct. 5 and charged with pos-
session of oxycodone without a prescription. She was transported to the Levy County Jail.
Passengers in vehicle cited for drug offenses
A car traveling south on U.S. Hwy. 19 that was stopped by an Inglis Police Officer
for having a faulty tail light, west of River Rd. around 9:45 p.m., Dec. 10, resulted in two
passengers being cited on drug charges. A certified narcotic detection canine was deployed
and alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. Hunter N. Thomason, 19, Tal-
lahassee, was issued a Notice to Appear for possession of drug equipment and possession of
cannabis less than 20 gms. when 1.6 gms. of cannabis and a glass pipe containing cannabis
residue was located in his backpack. He was released at the scene. Nathan Thomas Brazeau,
20, also of Tallahassee and a passenger in the vehicle, admitted to having a small amount
