Celebration of Lights at Wildlife Park
Now through Saturday, December 24, and again on Tuesday, December 27,
20115:30 pm through 9:00 pm. Suggested donation of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for chil-
dren. Sponsored by the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. The community is
invited to come out and enjoy the park decked out for the holidays with thousands of twin-
kling lights and Christmas decorations during this multi-evening event. A variety of enter-
tainment will be scheduled and refreshments will be available.
Citrus County Genealogical Society Meets
The Citrus County Genealogical Society (CCGS) will meet January 10 at 10:00
a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3474 W. Southern St., Lecanto.
The guest speaker will be Peter Summers, President of the Pinellas County Genealogical
Society. His topic will be “Getting the Most Out of the National Archives Website.” He will
talk about the parts of the website that are of the greatest value to genealogists. Although
the website (www.archives.gov) is very large and sometimes difficult to use, it does provide
free access to numerous records via the Access to Archival Databases (AAD) link on the
Research Our Records page. Guests are welcome to attend CCGS meetings. For questions

Tricky Tray Event
The Council of Catholic Women of Our Lady of Grace Church is hosting their
annual Tricky Tray Fund Raiser, Saturday, January 21, 2012, in the Parish Life Center, 6
Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills, FL, 34465. Doors open at 10:00 AM and the drawings begin
at 11:30 AM. Our Tricky Tray features baskets with contents valued at $25 or more, raffles
