The Town of Yankeetown hereby gives notice that the Town will accept bids
from qualified contractors for the following work:
Modifications to the Observation Tower located at the Withlacoochee Gulf Pre-
serve. Modifications include the addition of concrete foundations, addition of support
poles and framing, and the leveling of existing stairs and landings on an existing timber
framed tower which is approximately 30 feet to the upper observation deck. Approxi-
mately 45 days will be allowed for construction. A payment and performance bond will
be required for 100 percent of the proposed contract amount.
Bidding documents may be obtained from the Town of Yankeetown at 6241
