Downsized Due to Lack of Funds is
As of Monday, November 19th, the SBDC Citrus County office in Homosassa
staffed only three days a month. New, current, and past clients can call 1-866-998-8332
to schedule an appointment on one of these days as availability allows. Should County
funding be restored, the SBDC will resume full-time consulting, training and information
services from offices in Homosassa, Inverness and Crystal River.
At the November 13th Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Citrus Coun-
ty Commissioners again postponed the decision to provide the funds. With the reserve
exhausted, the SBDC has been forced to reduce its services to Citrus County until matching
funds can be restored.
