Yankeetown Community Church Christmas Cantata
The Yankeetown Community Church Choir will present their Christmas Cantata
"A Christmas Mosaic" on Sunday December 21at. at 6 PM. Sandwiches, finger foods and
Hot Spiced Cider will be served following the performance. Please plan on joining us for
the most festive occasion.
Program at Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve
Join the Friends of the WGP and learn about "Levy County's Prehistoric Connec-
tions" on Tuesday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. The program will be held at the Ellie Schiller
Education Center, 1001 Old Rock Road, Yankeetown, FL. Brack Barker will explore the
prehistoric connections of our environment between then and now. Mr. Barker is a Florida
Master Naturalist, Certified Kayak Instructor, and has over twelve years background in
museums. In a week or so following this program, Mr. Barker will conduct an interpretive
program at the Shell Mound Archaeological site near Cedar Key. Join us on Tuesday, De-
cember 23, for more details on the Shell Mound walk. Visit the Friends of the WGP website
