A goup of young Explorers is shown at the recent Shop with a Cop event at the

Homosassa Walmart, where participating kids tookselected giftsa 

Christmas dinner. The Citrus County Sheriff's Office Explorers help out the sheriff's office

at every county event!

The Florida Association of Police Explorers (F.A.P.E.) was organized in 1971 to



bring together Law Enforcement Explorers from around the State of Florida. Young males



and females, ages 14-21, are given the opportunity to become leaders within the organi-

zation. They must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or above, have had no ♦

serious arrests and not a user of illegal drugs. Many of these youths will become the law
