5th Annual Crystal River Community Boat Parade
Saturday, December 19th, 2009, Theme: Decorate for: “A Fairytale Christmas”
Time: Kings Bay, at 4:45pm. Parade starts promptly @ 6:15pm. A designated route and
entry number will be given to each participating boat.
Come watch the boat parade from any location on Kings Bay to see SANTA before he
takes off on his trip from the North Pole!!!
Prizes we’ll be given for “BEST THEMED BOAT” and “MOST LIGHTS.” All
participants are responsible for his/her own vessel.

Celebration of Lights DEC. 18-24 & DEC. 26
Homosassa – The Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park have announced the dates
for their popular annual Christmas Celebration of Lights event at Ellie Schiller Homosassa
Springs Wildlife State Park. The eight–evening event is scheduled for the evenings of De-
cember 18 through Christmas Eve and then will be open again on the evening of December
26. The park will reopen at 5:30 p.m. on these evenings and remain open until 9:00 p.m.
This event is one of the ways this citizen support organization and the park give back to the
community for all of its support throughout the year. Everyone is invited to come out to the
park to relax and enjoy the holiday season.
