2011 Crystal River Lighted Holiday Boat Parade
When: Saturday, December 17, 2011. Parade begins in the bay at 6:15 p.m. Cost:
Free to view and participate. NO registration fee. Theme: “Christmas in Florida” - Anyone
wanting to participate is welcome to meet (with a decorated boat) near the river markers in
Kings Bay, beginning at 4:45pm. Parade will start promptly at 6:15pm. Where: Come watch
the boat parade from any location on Kings Bay to see SANTA before he takes off on his
trip from the North Pole!!! Best viewing areas are Pete’s Pier, The Crystal River Ale House
and Marina, 3rd St. Pier, Dockside Ice Cream Shop and Crackers Restaurant and Tiki. Santa
will exit at Crackers with treats for the kids! Prizes we’ll be given for “BEST THEMED
BOAT” and “MOST LIGHTS.” All participants are responsible for his/her own vessel. For

Lake Rousseau Aquatic Plant Management Meeting
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has scheduled
a meeting on December 15, 2011 to discuss Lake Rousseau aquatic plant management is-
sues. Those who enjoy recreating on Lake Rousseau are encouraged to attend and express
their views and provide comments on aquatic plant management issues for this lake. The
information received at this meeting will be used to help develop the aquatic plant manage-
ment plan for next calendar year.
The 1 p.m. meeting will be held at the Lake Rousseau R.V. Park and Fishing Resort.
