Citrus Shop With A Cop
Celebrates 10 Years

Thanks to the generosity of big-
hearted area citizens, businesses and orga-
nizations, 100 youngsters and their fami-
lies were selected to participate the tenth
year anniversary of the Citrus County
Sheriff s Office annual Shop with a Cop
event.
The Sheriff s Office Juvenile
Affairs Unit worked with the Homosassa
and Inverness Walmart Supercenters and
solicited referrals from the county’s el-
ementary school guidance counselors to
select deserving students to enjoy a meal,
followed by a free $125 shopping spree,
then a turkey plus all the trimmings for
