For a Limited Time FREE Pet adoptions with License Fee
Citrus County Animal Services will be offering FREE pet adoptions, dogs and cats
with the purchase of a $10 County License beginning Tuesday, November 8 and ending on
Saturday, November 12. Your adoption will include; the spay/neuter surgery, a microchip,
rabies vaccination at no additional cost. Citrus County Animal Shelter is located at 4030 S.
Airport Road, Inverness. Pet adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm.

County Offices Closed for Veterans Day Observance
Citrus County Government offices will be closed Friday, November 11, in obser-
vance of Veterans Day. The Citrus County Landfill will close at 2:30pm on Friday, Novem-
ber 11, No Hazardous Waste Drop Off and the Administration Office will be closed. All
library branches will be closed on Friday, November 11 and open normal business hours on
Saturday, November 12. Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday, November 11, and open
normal business hours on Saturday, November 12.
