IPD Seeking Children & Donations for Shop With A Cop
On Monday, the Inglis Police Department’s started its drive to recruit both chil-
dren and donations for it 3rd-annual Shop with a Cop program.
You can register your child for this program, or make a donation, at the police
department, Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Donation checks
should be made to the order of: “Town of Inglis Police Donations” and mailed to or dropped
off at the police department., located at 26 Hwy. 40 W. in Inglis, Florida, 34449. If you have
questions, please call the IPD at (352) 447-0303.
The children whose names are randomly selected for the shopping trip will be
allotted a specific amount of money with which they can purchase Christmas gifts for
loved ones. Registrations will be accepted through Thursday, Dec. 15. The children will be
selected in a drawing on Friday, Dec. 16, and selected children will be notified on Monday,
Dec. 19. The children will meet at the Inglis Police Department on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 6:00
p.m., to head-out on their fun shopping expedition at an Ocala Walmart.

The parade will be held on December 10 at 4:00 pm, starting at the Food Ranch

and ending at the School. After the Parade, Santa will be at the Inglis Community Center
at Inglis Super Stop
for all the Children. Pictures will be taken with Santa. Anyone wishing to enter the parade

The Nature Coast Business Development Council will conduct its regular month-
ly meeting 8:30 am Dec. 6, 2011 at the Levy Center for the College of Central Florida,

consulting work for the NCBDC, as well as discuss the appointment of new members to
