Handicapped Parking to be Enforced
at Yankeetown Boat Ramp
Levy County has recently designated handicapped parking at the Levy County boat
ramp located at the end of State Road 40 West in Yankeetown. The Levy County Sheriff's
Office has learned that the parking space is being used without
by vehicles a handicapped
tag or placard. Under Florida State Statute 316.1955, enforcement officers
law are required
to remove vehicles that are illegally parked in handicapped spaces. Levy County Deputies
will begin enforcing handicapped parking violations at the boat ramp, immediately. Please
help us avoid the necessity of towing any vehicles due to illegal parking.
