"GONE FISHING" November 13, 2012, 3 years ago, Jon Denis "Deni" Price Jr. (at 48
years young) was promoted to Heaven. Deni was the most loving person who had a love and
respect of family, friends, life and God. Deni was a person of kind words and a love and zest
for life that many never experience. His belief was "I am not here for a longtime, I am here
for a good time." Called by many "the gentle giant," Deni was as comfortable with older
folks as he was with his many friends who filled much of their lives with fishing. Deni was
happy if he had a fishing pole in his hands. If someone needed help of any kind, he was there
to help. He was the most loving son who always had an "I love you" every day. His pride
was his son Jon. My thoughts to my grandson Jon, Deni's "best buds" of many, Richard
Steinhorst and almost brother Lamar Gay, his sister Lynn Hough and family and his dad Jon
Price and Sunny. Loving and missing him every day. Sally Price (Mother)

Three Sisters Changes under Review
Websites: thenewscaster.com · newscasterarchives.com · history.newscasterarchives.c
A refined proposal to provide access to Three Sisters Springs at Crystal River Na-
tional Wildlife Refuge is being released today and it includes three noteworthy changes
from an August draft proposal released by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
After reviewing more than 2,600 comments from citizens, local leaders and the
business community, the Service released a revised draft Environmental Assessment for
public comment that it believes better matches up its need to protect manatees with local
tourism and business interests and its partnership with the City of Crystal River. The re-
fined alternative, referred to as Modified Guided In-Water Manatee Viewing or Alternative
D, would reduce the maximum number of allowed inthewateratanyone
visitors time
from 29 to 13, including required guides. It proposes to howpeople access
changes will the
water and limits access points. And finally, it proposes responsibility
to shift for issuing
permits to tour operators and dive shops from the Service to the City of Crystal River.
