Manatee Season Opens
Manatee season began on Tuesday, November 15th. The Three Sisters
Springs shoreline/bank stabilization project should be almost complete and the boardwalk
and trolley tours are set to begin at that time. Please note that the trolley location has been
changed. Trolleys will now be leaving from the old Health Department building, behind
Crystal River City Hall, and not from the Visitors Center.
Next Meeting for Citrus Tourism & Development Council
Tuesday, December 14th, 2016 @ 9:00am Meetings are held at the Lecanto Gov-
ernment Building. Dates for 2017 will be announced as soon as they are available. As
always, our industry partners are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings of the TDC.

Road Closure Announcement
Citrus County Road Maintenance has temporarily closed a portion of Truman Blvd
from S Washington St to S Barbour St, due to a water main break. The water main is owned
and operated by Rolling Oaks, a private utility. A detour is in place and the road will be
closed until further notice. Update: The road is now open, as of Tuesday morning.
