Restaurant Opening Delayed
Pet Patrol
Momma Sally’s Restaurant scheduled to open this week in the December’s River-
side Inn building in Inglis received an unexpected delay when questions arose about their
permitting with the state and county. Also being challenged is the septic system. According
to Levy County the pictures used to show the septic had been done in the past and had no
permits to match the work. A source at Momma Sally’s in Crystal River also stated that this
Momma Sally’s location was totally separate from the Crystal River location.
To differentiate between the two, the restaurant would have to bear the name
Momma Sally’s North. The building originally housed Happy’s Bar years ago. December's
is named for a family name of owners of Cracker’s in Crystal River which was highly
successful. After sale to several others including Mr V’s Steak House and Riverside Inn
the struggle to reopen involved the septic system.
