The woman stated that Young stayed at
to leave. When he left, she said, she walked to a neighboring residence. She also said, that
on Sept. 21, Young had done the same thing to her, and he had been becoming more violent
with her. She said a relative had requested a wellbeing check on her recently, and she had
told deputies that she was fine, which was a lie. The victim wanted to go to a shelter for her
wellbeing, but did not feel that she needed medical care. The following day about 12:30 am,
Young was located and placed under arrest. He admitted having grabbed the woman by her
arms, but denied that he headbutted her.
Timothy James Roberts, 21, Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
Office, Sept. 30, charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation and aggravated as-
sault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. He was held without bond. According to
the arrest report, the victim told deputies that Roberts arrived at her Dunnellon house around
2:00 am, highly intoxicated, and they got into an argument in her driveway. She told depu-
ties that she asked him to leave, several times, but he refused. She said the argument moved
to her front porch, where Roberts broke a glass table with one of the two rifles he was car-
rying. She said, he then grabbed her by the throat, pushing her inside the residence into the
washing machine, making it difficult for her to breathe. Roberts then took the victim's cell
