Get a Head Start on Medicare Part D 2011
October is the month SHINE, a volunteer program with the FL Dept of Elder
Affairs, offers to assist you in finding a Medicare Part D Drug Plan for 2011 that is the
least expensive for you and will cover your drugs. Enrollment for Part D begins Nov 15th
and ends Dec 31st. Bring your Medicare Card, your Rx Drug Plan Card and your Rx drug
bottles or a printout from your pharmacy of the last 90 days of your drugs. SHINE pro-
vides free, unbiased and confidential counseling on Medicare issues. Come by a site or call

Old Fashion Pot Luck Open House
As our way of saying THANK YOU to the community for your continued sup-
port of our fund raising events, the Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s Club would like to in-
vite you to an Open House, Pot Luck and Neighborhood Social. Stop by the Clubhouse
on 56th Street in Yankeetown, Sunday, October 10th from 1pm to 3pm. Who doesn’t
like a pot luck? Everyone always makes their best dish and it’s our bet the folks around
here outshine them all. After you eat, you can check out our scrapbooks and take a trip
down memory lane for some great history of Yankeetown and Inglis or just enjoy your
neighbors. The Woman’s Club will provide hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks for everyone
bringing a covered dish to share. As alwaysthe Thrift Store will be open for your shopping
pleasure. See you after church on Sunday, October 10th ....bring your neighbor and an ap-
petite andjoin the fun!!!
Levy County Meet The Candidates
Friday night a special ceremony for our local Girl Scouts was held at the Inglis Community

The Recreation Advisory Board Activities Committee is hosting the Down Home
Block Party Street Dance on Saturday, October 30th, 2010 at the Inglis Community Center
fron 6pm-10pm. Fun for all ages! Dance the night away with family and friends to rockin’
live entertainment. Children 12 and under will need adult supervision. Free Snowcones,
Dance Contest (all ages), Hay Rides, and Costume Contest (all ages). Refreshements will

First Annual Area Wide Yard Sale to be sponsored by RABAC
The First Annual Area Wide Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, November 6th,
2010. Individuals wishing to have a yard sale that day can pay a nominal fee of $5.00 to
have your yard sale listed on a map of the area with a short description of the items that you
are selling. The maps will then be handed out from Inglis Town Hall and several other lo-
cations the morning and day of the yard sales. Applications can be picked up and returned
to the Inglis Town Hall no later than October 29th, 2010. For more information please call
