“75 Years of Local Education” at Yankeetown School, Oct. 29th
On Sat., Oct. 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Yankeetown School will cel-

ebrate its 75th anniversary, with tours of the older buildings. Others ideas for the event
include a digital photo collage in the auditorium, a technology exhibit, a tour of the mod-
ern classrooms, lunch in the cafeteria, entertainment, exhibits from 1936-2011 to include
         
cheerleaders past and present, sports teams, old employees, personal photo albums and
copy machine for duplicating pictures, along with t-shirts, photo collage discs, cookbooks,

The First Baptist Church of Inglis would like to invite you to join us for an eve-

ning of fun, providing as a safe alternative to Halloween: “Hallowed be Thy Name Night”
on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 6:00-8:00pm. We will be hosting a family-friendly
event, which will include: food & drinks, a bag of treats for each child, pony rides, hay-

Cedars of Lebanon Annual Fundraising Dinner
The Cedars of Lebanon Cemetery is having its annual dinner Saturday 5th No-
vember 2011. The dinner is held at the Inglis community center 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. For a
donation of $7.00 dinner includes dessert, drink, coleslaw, hushpuppies, baked beans, fried
mullet or grilled chicken. Everyone is welcome and proceeds are for the maintenance of
the cemetery.
