Trunks Desperately Needed
Individuals and/or businesses are needed to decorate their car trunks, tailgates,
or lawn chairs and give out treats to excited children at the 2014 Town of Inglis Trail of
Trunk Treats, a safe alternative to trick or treating. The event will be held in the field next
to the Inglis Community Center on Saturday, October 25, from12:30 - 2 pm. Trunks must
be registered with the Town Hall for a space assignment. If you cannot do a trunk', please
donate candy for those who would like to participate but cannot afford it. Candy donations
will be accepted at the Inglis Post Office. For more information, call Freda at 447-0236.
Shine Help for Elder Affairs
SHINE, a volunteer program with the FL Dept of Elder Affairs, is here to assist you in
making the best informed decision for your 2015 Medicare Part D Drug Plan or Medicare
Advantage Plan. Each site will have a short presentation followed by individual counsel-
ing. SHINE provides free, unbiased, and confidential counseling.
Low Income Medicare beneficiaries should ask about Extra Help (LIS) to help pay
for your 2015 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs.
Bring with you your Medicare Card, your 2014 Plan card (if any), and all your
Prescription drug bottles or a 90 day listing of your prescriptions from your pharmacy.
