Levy County Fair

The 2ndAnnual Miss & Little Miss Levy
county fair contest is set to kick off. Young ladies
from all over the county are encouraged to partici-
pate. The contest and crowning will take place on
Sunday Nov. 2nd at 6:00 pm. Plan to come and
cheer them on. If your interested in participating

The Lake County Sherriff's Posse has
agreed to demonstrate their mounted posse all night
on Thursday. Lights, sirens and crowds are no
problem for the mounted posse! Their superior
demonstration of equestrian skills can be enjoyed
by all.
The 2nd Annual Car, Truck and Motor-
cycle show along with Freestyle Motocross spon-
sored by Santa Fe Ford & Articat will be the high-
light of Friday & Saturdays entertainment. Remem-
ber every night is a cruize-in at the fair. Attend the
fair with your show ready car, truck or motorcycle
and let your gate admission gain you PREMIUM

Fall Heritage Weekends
The “Fall Heritage Weekends,” spon-
sored by the Friends of Rainbow Springs (FORS),
will begin at Rainbow Springs State Park on Octo-
ber 25 and 26 when the Hands-on-Woodturners
showcase the creative art of woodturning from 9
am to 4 pm both days. See how wood, otherwise
destined for the landfill, can be transformed into
beautiful works of art and utilitarian objects. Ad-
