Heath Ray Dempsey, 39, S. Nut-
meg Ter., Lecanto was arrested by the Cit-
rus County Sheriff s Office, Oct. 14, on an
arrest warrant for felony battery (commit
battery with a previous conviction for bat-
tery). His bond was set at none.
Kristen Marie St. Claire, 31, E.
Sioux Canal Dr., Hernando, FL was ar-
rested by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Of-
fice, Oct. 14, charged with resisting an of-
ficer without violence. Her bond was set
at $500. The report stated that, just before
midnight, the sheriff s office was contacted
about St. Claire taking a 4-pack of beer
without paying. The person making the
complaint, told the deputy that St. Claire
and two other people (whom he didn’t
know) had walked into his residence and
told him and others that she’d been beaten-
up and needed a ride. She would not tell
him where she lived, so they had dropped
her off at the Circle K station., where she
grabbed the four-pack of beer and left the
store without paying for it. When deputies
arrived, St. Claire was sipping on an open
beer. The store declined to press charges
regarding the beer incident, but deputies
placed St. Claire under arrest for refusing
to cooperate with giving them information
