Each autumn, the Yankeetown School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) cel-

ebrates the season's cooler weather, falling leaves and changing colors with the Annual

Fall Festival. This year's event takes place on Friday, October 16, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8

p.m. on the school grounds. The PTO invites the entire community to come and join the

excitement. Admission is free and tickets sell for only 25 cents each, or five for a dol-

lar. Festival activities include hay rides, games, prizes, a cake walk, bounce house and a

photo booth. Food and drinks are available for purchase. In addition, you can get tickets

for a 65-gallon Yeti Cooler donated by Douglas Lindsay of Tropic Shores Realty in Ho-

mosassa. All proceeds support the PTO, Yankeetown School's athletic activities, as well

as the safety patrol program. All donations particularly Halloween candy for the children

-- are much appreciated. Please bring to the school's front office Monday through Friday

between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. So come on out for some fall fun! For more information, please
