Shortly after taking office, (Jan.3) newly elected Levy County Sheriff Bobby Mc-

Callum put out a memo outlining some critical changes in his chain of command.

Effective, January 8, 2013, W.O. "Brett" Beauchamp will become Undersheriff/

Legal Advisor and will be responsible for directing all personnel and operations of the Sher-

iffs Office. Undersheriff Beauchamp will have primary responsibility for the Administrative

    

and Legal Bureau of the Sheriffs Office.

 

Sheffield has nearly 25 years of dedicated service and experience with this office and I am

excited and honored to have him as a part of the leadership and manaemtteam•••

McCallum concluded by saying, "Over the next few weeks, all sections of the

Sheriffs Office will be evaluated for proficiency, efficiency and professionalism and as a 

result other changes may be forthcoming."
