Transit Orange Line Offers Free Bus Pass Program
Starting January 15, 2015, Citrus County Transit will offer a free bus pass to eli-
gible passengers that travel on the Citrus County Orange Line deviated fixed route. The
Orange Line operates Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Through
Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) funding, passengers with an income level of $1,200 per
month or less can apply for the free bus pass by filing out a TD application and providing
supporting documentation to verify income. The pass will be valid for 2 years, and can be
renewed at that time. The free pass does not apply to the door to door para transit service.
The free pass is also available to the passengers 60 years old and over, passengers that have
a valid Medicare Card, Honorably Discharged Veterans (with DD214 or valid military ID),
and persons with disabilities.

Friends of Citrus County Animal Services and Citrus County Animal Services are offering
a special discount "I Have a Dream...to be Adopted" from Saturday, January 17 through

Citrus County Port Authority meeting set for January 27
The Citrus County Port Authority will meet Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the board

women to join us by walking or riding in the MLK Parade in Crystal River on Monday
