Homosassa man sentenced to 15 years

Jonathan Erlandson, 31, of Homosassa, was sentenced recently to

Robert Wayne Andrews, 49, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sher-
iff's Office, Jan. 22, charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon without intent to kill. No bond was given.
Kristi Kaye Dawson, 51, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
Office, Jan. 22, charged with abuse of an elderly person or disabled adult. Her bond was set
at $2,000.
Crystal Ann Austin, 38, 3 Mastic Ct. E., Homosassa, was found guilty of attempt-
ed first degree murder and aggravated battery with great bodily harm by a jury in Judge Ric
Howard's court, Jan. 22. She was accused of stabbing her boyfriend with a samurai sword
in June 2014. Her sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 25. She was remanded to the custody of
the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, pending sentencing.

Thomas Wayne Hale, Jr., 24, 7447 W. Kendale Ct., Homosassa, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 12, charged with possession of a controlled substance
(251.5 grams of cannabis) and driving while license suspended or revoked (knowingly, sec-
ond offense). His total bond was set at $3,000. The report stated the deputy saw Hale driving
and is aware his license is suspended, as he'd written Hale a citation for driving with a sus-
pended license on Dec. 19. A K-9 deputy alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle,
and the cannabis was found. Hale said he was trying to get home from his girlfriend's house,
and the cannabis was for his personal use.
