Thomas Wayne Hale, Jr., 24, 7447 W. Kendale Ct., Homosassa, was arrested by the

Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Jan. 12, charged with possession of a controlled substance

(251.5 grams of cannabis) and driving while license suspended or revoked (knowingly, sec-



ond offense). His total bond was set at $3,000. The report stated the deputy saw Hale driving





and is aware his license is suspended, as he'd written Hale a citation for driving with a sus-



pended license on Dec. 19. A K-9 deputy alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle,

and the cannabis was found. Hale said he was trying to get home from his girlfriend's house, 

and the cannabis was for his personal use.
