In a recent Squawk Box I
said the “Natives were
restless” and there was
talk to dissolve the Town of Inglis and go
back to county rule like all but two towns
in Citrus County, which most are larger
than Inglis. History repeats itself when

dissolve but the efforts were eventually
dropped.
Today petitions for 8 amend-
ments, which are needed in the process
of dissolve, are being passed around to

un-incorporate the Town of Inglis. Those
