Inglis DAB Constructors Inc. is under contract for the new road work including drainage on
Hwy 19 from the mall to Lebanon Station. According to crew supervisor Gary Fitzgerald, the 4
older walls on the bridge across the Withlacoochee River have to be replaced. The present
walls do not meet Department of Transportation specs on the bridge that was built in 1973.

Bair celebrated his 70th birthday with almost 90 friends and family members who came from
near and far to participate in this milestone. Wife Leslie coordinated the party for months
working behind Bob's back. The room was decorated with a time-line through history of the 70

years. Pictures, posters, mementos, shirts, hats all depicting things from Bob's life lined the
walls and tables. "This Is Your Life" brought voices from the past to challenge his memory.

His brother Gary from Pennsylvania made a surprise visit bringing Bob a frozen deer in a

cooler. Dinner, cake, music and fun were enjoyed by all. If success is counted by friends, then
Bob has achieved the ultimate goal. Bob and Leslie were the former owners of Big Oaks River
