Bark N Purr Humane Society Benefit
Pet Patrol
The Bronson Youth League Park will come alive with the sounds of music on Satur-
day, February 28, 2009, when major and local recording artists will perform to raise funds for a
spay and neuter clinic and adoption center for the Tri-county area. The 2nd Annual Bark-N-
Purr Charity Concert will open at Noon on that day and provide a variety of entertaining family
events throughout the afternoon.
However, when the sun goes down the air will be filled with the music of singer-
songwriter Craig Morgan. Born and raised in Nashville, Morgan became serious about his
career after a tour with the US Army. Every year since 2003, Morgan has had one or two of his
songs on the top 100 County and Western charts of Hot CountrySongs and The Billboard Hot
100.
Songs like “International Harvester” and “Love Remembers” (2008), “Little Bit of
Life” (2007), “I Got You” (2006), and “Redneck Yacht Club” (2005). His most recent release,
“God Must Really Love Me” is 46th on the chart of Hot Country Songs.
In addition to Morgan’s performance at 8:00 p.m., the Tom Jackson Band will
entertain from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and performer Bryce Carlisle will be on the main stage from 6:30
to 7:30 pm.
