probation (original charge of possession of alprazolam and driving under the influence with
property damage) with no bond; and misdemeanor violation of an injunction for protection
against domestic violence, also with no bond. While Growdon was being booked into the
Citrus County Detention Facility following his arrest, an anonymous person contacted the
sheriff's office to report that Growdon had contacted her from the detention facility and told
her that he had a backpack full of "money and weed," the report stated, in a vehicle owned
by a witness and parked at Cody's Roadhouse restaurant in Crystal River. A deputy went to
the location and asked the witnes if Growdon had left a backpack in her vehicle, and she said
that he had. She gave it to a deputy who took it to the detention facility and gave it to the
deputy who had arrested Growdon. Growdon admitted ownership of the backpack and its
contents. Inside was 39 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and a wallet that contained $400
in cash, separated in such a way as "to be consistent with someone who sells narcotics," the
report stated. Growdon was additionally charged with possession of Schedule I, II or III
drugs with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver. His bond was set at $5,000 on this charge.
