Patrricia D. Willis White, C.R. 40

East, Inglis, was arrested by the Inglis Police

Department at the Levy County Jail, Dec.


29, charged with burglary. According to the
 
arrest report, White entered a Neeld St. resi-

dence while the owner was out of state on a
hunting trip, spent the night at the residence

and cooked and ate a steak from the victim’s

freezer, all without the owner’s permission.
Oscar Martinez Ramirez, 33, Hwy.
 
40 East, Inglis, was arrested by the Levy

County Sheriff’s Office at the Levy County
Jail, Jan. 5, charged with violation of pro-

bation (resisting without violence). He was
held without bond.

Jason Phillip Cloud, 33, 194th Ct.,
Inglis, was arrested at his residence by the
  

Levy County Sheriff’s Office, Jan. 8, on a


Citrus County warrant for violation of pro-

bation (driving under the influence, third
offense). He was transported to the Levy


County Jail. He was held without bond.


Donte Demetris Lewis, 20, N. 13th
Terrace, Crystal River, was arrested by the

CCSO. Lewis was charged with trafficking
in cocaine (28 grams), possession marijuana

(4 grams), resisting an officer without vio-

lence and driving while license suspended.

An Inglis man was arrested by the Inglis Police Department, around 7:45 p.m.,
Dec. 13, following an altercation between a customer and the store clerk at the Inglis Food

Mart, located at 570 Hwy. 40-E in Inglis.

According to the officer’s reports of the incident, Oscar Martinez Ramrez, Hwy.
40-E, Inglis reported the incident to the Inglis Police Department by dialing 911.

Officer Tim Swiggett went to Ramirez’s home and spoke with him. Ramirez told

Singh, who told the officer that he told Ramirez that he didn’t need any change, and the

the chest, so he grabbed the sword and chased him out of the store, hitting him on the arm.
Officer Swiggett spoke with a witness and also viewed the surveillance videos.

from behind the counter and chased Ramirez out of the store. Ramirez returned, and the
clerk charged him, hitting him on the arm with the sword. Ramirez again walked back inside
the store, and Singh grabbed a shotgun from behind the counter, and Ramirez left.
After Officer Swiggett reviewed the surveillance films, he returned to Ramirez’s

house and placed him under arrest on a charge of battery, as he appeared to be the primary
aggressor. Ramirez was transported to the Levy County Jail.
