Gaines told the deputy that he suffers from memory loss due to a vehicle accident and does
not know why he took the medication.

the crash. Mr. Colon was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala with seri-
ous injuries.
The report stated that both men were wearing seatbelts, and Mr. Colon was not
under the influence of alcohol. However, a blood alcohol test will be performed on Mr.
Stockum, as is customary.
The report stated that no charges were made related to the traffic crash.
9/11 Day of Service Shoes and Socks Drive
The annual "Two Good Soles" Socks & Shoes Drive runs through Sept. 11. Dona-
tion boxes are located throughout the community for citizens to drop off a new pair of shoes
or socks to benefit Citrus County youth. This drive is being held as part of the 9/11 Day of
