you do, come see SHINE, a volunteer program with the Florida Department of Elder Af-
fairs, for one-on-one counseling. SHINE provides free, unbiased and confidential assis-
tance. If you cannot come to a site call the Elder Helpline at 1-800-262-2243 to be referred

Open Ship at Station Yankeetown
Manatee Division of the Naval Sea Cadets is having an “Open Ship” at the Coast
Guard Station in Yankeetown. Saturday Sept. 11th from 9 to 3. Come spend a fun day
with us and meet our cadets and see if the Sea Cadet Corps is for you. There will be games,
challenges and lunch during the day. This youth group is for ages of 11-17 and is an awe-
some program that has many opportunities for the area youth.  Contact our commanding

Pancake Breakfast
Pancake Breakfast at Parsons Presbyterian Memorial Church, in Yankeetown, on
Sat. Sept 11th. For a donation of $4.50 for breakfast and all profits go to the U.S. Naval Sea
Cadet Corps program. Come at 8am to have breakfast and meet our Sea Cadets. “Open
Ship” If you are interested in joining this youth group, this will be the perfect time to come
