The Levy County
Division responded to a residence located at 4091 NE 212 Court, Williston, shortly after
midnight, Aug. 4, to a reported home invasion robbery and shooting. Deputies arrived and
found James Patterson, 27, and his brother Ramon Patterson, 23, inside their home, suf-

fering from gunshot wounds. James Patterson did not survive his injuries and died while
enroute to the hospital. Ramon Patterson underwent surgery and is expected to recover
