Anthony DeSean Wilkerson, 21, homeless in the Dunnellon area, was arrested by

the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, July 29, charged with aggravated battery using a deadly
weapon (no bond), false imprisonment (no bond); hindering a person from reporting an
   
offense to law enforcement ($2,000 bond); driving while license knowingly suspended or
revoked ($500 bond), and tampering with evidence ($5,000 bond). The arrest report stated

that Wilkerson and his girlfriend got into an argument regarding their different religions,
during which he's accused of punching her on her face and head, numerous times; placing

a knife to her throat, causing a small laceration to the right side of her neck; throwing the

knife out of the window while traveling at a high rate of speed, and of snatching the victim's
cell phone from her hand when she attempted to call 911. The report stated that Wilkerson

was placed under arrest at gunpoint, and the victim was bleeding from her nose and mouth,

with the blood dripping down onto her legs.
