Former Councilman Planning a Run for
Pet Patrol
Crystal River City Council
Mike Gudis has announced his candidacy for seat #3 on the Crystal River City Council.
Gudis has served on many non profit boards including President of Boys & Girls Clubs
and President of the Wildlife Park. He currently is Treasurer of the Veterans Coalition and
serves on the Crystal River Planning Board and has served two 2 year terms in the past on
the Crystal River Council.
Gudis said his main goals include cleaning up Kings Bay; managing growth while pro-
tecting the environment; recruiting new businesses and providing jobs; and providing need-
ed services while using cost effective methods.
Gudis, an accountant and financial advisor, has many years of experience in manage-
ment, legislative initiatives and finance. He has been an executive in Federal, County and
City governments.
Gudis feels that local government is trhe closest to the people and he has always be-
lieved in an open door policy.
