26th Annual Lakes, Rivers, & Coastal Cleanup
The Citrus 20/20 Save Our Waters Week Committee in partnership with Citrus
County Government is seeking volunteers for the 26th Annual Lakes, Rivers & Coastal
Clean-up scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2015 from sunrise to 11:30 a.m.
Groups of two or more are invited to join the countywide removal of debris from
the shorelines, waterways, lakes, rivers and ocean. Create a team of friends, family, neigh-
bors, businesses, organizations or club members to help clean up Citrus County's water-
ways.
Immediately following the Cleanup, there will be volunteer appreciation luncheons
on both the east and west sides of the County. All groups must be registered by September

Crystal River woman Identified in Fiery Crash
            
An early morning crash in Crystal River, August 17, proved fatal to 43 year-old

Desire M. Wilson-Fellows of Crystal River, the driver involved in the single-vehicle crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ms. Wilson-Fellows was driving a 1997 Toyota

SUV, traveling south on N. Citrus Ave., south of W. Far Hills Rd. when for unknown rea-

sons, she drove onto the east shoulder, then over-corrected, traveled back across the road-
way and overturned. The Toyota caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames. Wilson-

Fellows sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the crash.

