John Wesley Poblette, 58, 6781 N. Birch Ter., Hernando, was arrested by the Citrus

County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 6, charged with theft of an auto, bus or truck. His bond was set

at $2,000. The report stated that Poblette contacted deputies to inform them that he'd gotten

into a truck and had driven away with it, and when he later realized it wasn't his truck, he
drove to the area where he believed the truck had been, but he didn't see his vehicle. He said

he believed that the person whose truck he was driving had stolen his vehicle, as well. Mr.
Poblette told deputies that he has early onset Alzheimer's disease, but his wife told deputies

that she does not have the documentation to verify it.
Michael Anthony Whitlock, 49, Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Citrus County

Sheriff's Office, Aug. 6, charged with felony violation of pretrial release ($10,000 bond).

Mark George Buck, 37, 6232 E. Iona Ln., Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus
County Sheriff's Office, Aug. 8, charged with possession of a controlled substance (0.03 gm

methamphetamine). His bond was set at $2,000. The report stated that a deputy stopped his

patrol vehicle to check out Mr. Buck at E. Holly St. and S. Apopka Ave. in Inverness. Buck
agreed to speak with deputies and allowed them to pat him down for weapons. The drug was
found on his person, and Buck was placed under arrest.
