Yankeetown School "Back to School" Schedule
Yankeetown is an ‘A’ school. Open House Dates Thursday, August 18, 2011.
Pre-K 4:30 p.m.; Kindergarten 4:30 p.m.; Grades 1-4 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. ; Grades
5-8 5:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. School starts on Monday, August 22, 2011.School hours are
8:00 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.
Meals for Seniors at Inglis Community Center
The Suwannee River Economic Council, Inc. will be opening a new meal site on
August 23, 2011 at the Inglis Community Center, located at 137 Hwy 40 West, Inglis. The
meal site will be open on Tuesday and Thursdays and will serve seniors age 60 and older.
Meals will be served at 12:00 noon, so come enjoy a hot, nutritious meal. There is no cost,
but donations are welcomed. Please call Bernadette Preble, OAA Coordinator, at (352)
490-7055, ext 1 for more information and to ensure that we have enough meals prepared
for everyone who joins us.
 
Levy County 4-H County Roundup
This year it will be on Saturday August 27, 2011. The morning will begin at
