Citrus County Animal Services needs homes
Pet Patrol
for farm and domestic animals
Did you know that Citrus County Animal Control Officers are here to help? They
take animals whose owners can no longer care them and get them to the Citrus County Ani-
mal Services Shelter for adoption and other tasks.
Citrus County Animal Services is looking to find new homes for several farm ani-
mals, including a horse, two pot-bellied pigs, four chickens (two females and two males)
and two guinea pigs ( one is black and one is grey/white), in addition to a large assortment
of dogs and cats.
If you are interested in giving any of these animals a new “forever home,” please
contact the shelter at 352-746-8400 or stop by to visit them. Citrus County Animal Services
is located at 4030 S. Airport Rd. (behind the Fairgrounds on Hwy. 41) in Inverness, FL.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Closed Sundays, Mondays and holidays. Open
