Adopt A Rescued Pet to Host Pet Food Drive
Pet Patrol
Recognizing the growing costs of fuel and food, Adopt A Rescued Pet is announc-
ing it's accepting directed donations of new, unopened pet food at all of its adoption events.
The food will be distributed among the various food pantries in the county. AARPI will, also,
be accepting donations for a special fund to help those in need to receive flea control, and the
heartworm medication, which can only be purchased with a prescription, after testing.
All donations can only be accepted during the adoption events and should not be
left at the adoption sites at other times. The next scheduled adoption event will be at The
Bark Central, Turner Camp Road, Inverness on July 25th. For further information and event
dates, contact AARPI at (352) 795-9550.

when someone comes to the door. He has a very sweet temperament with people. This is not
an AARPI dog, but will assist with the adoption for this very busy grandmother, now raising
her grandchild, and hoping to find a home for this rescued dog, where he can receive more
