owner of a S.. Elm Ave., Homosassa residence reported on June 30, that between June 27

and 30, someone had entered his yard by removing a section of fencing and had taken a

riding lawn mower, golf cart and charger, and an air compressor. The golf cart was located
      
at a W. Oliver St. residence, where Boggs had been sleeping. Boggs admitted to taking the

items, the previous night, with the help of Thomas Childree.
Loren Wyatt Lea, 28, 3370 S. Viscaria Way, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus
   
County Sheriff's Office, June 30, charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon;

bond $10,000. The incident was reported by the victim, later in the day. He said he'd visited
a friend, who lives nearby, and when he noticed his friend was not at home, he tried to talk

to a neighbor (to ask where his friend was) and was attacked with a baton to his hand, which

was swollen and bleeding slightly, the report stated. The victim also showed the deputy
some damage to his Moped. The victim received medical treatment from emergency medi-

cal services. Lea and a witness stated that the victim was told to leave, numerous times, but

did not.
