Rex Gruver, (right) owner of Falcon Fireworks, prepares the Fourth of July pyrotechnics which will fill the sky over Liberty Park in Inverness later in the
evening. Rex thinks of his pyrotechnic shows as "a twenty minute disappearing painting" and jokingly calls himself the "Picasso of Pyro." He and his assistants
have been showering Inverness with artistic and explosive beauty for the past seven years. In their grand finale fired three hundred shells into the sky in fifteen
seconds. Despite the light on and off rain the program blasted off as scheduled culminating a day of music and celebration. Newscaster Photos by Mike Moore
