WILDLIFE PARK TO PRESENT
FLORIDA'S BLACK BEARS
PROGRAM FRIDAY (JUNE 24)

Springs Wildlife State Park has been fo-
cusing on Florida's Black bears during
the month of June. A special program is
planned on the theme of Florida's Black
bears to be held this Friday, June 24,
2016.
Displays and hands-on activi-
ties are available in the Visitor Center
and in the Discovery Center. Angeline
Scotten, a Senior Wildlife Assistance Bi-
ologist with Florida Wildlife Conserva-
tion Commission will offer her program
titled Florida's Black Bears at the Ellie
Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife
State Park.
This educational program will
discuss several subjects including biol-
ogy, behavior, conflicts and attractants,
and ultimately how to coexist with bears.
