Nature Coast Volunteer Center Schedules Special Needs Call Down Drill
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a program of the Nature Coast
Volunteer Center (NCVC) is hosting a Special Needs Call-Down Drill on Tuesday, June 7
from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The training will be held at the Citrus County Transit Center, located at 1300 S.
Lecanto Hwy in Lecanto. For registration and more information, call the Nature Coast

Free Florida-Friendly Gardening Workshops in June

Citrus County Utilities Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Program offering a free
gardening workshop on June 7 from2:00-3:30 pm. Once established the right plant is often
sustainable without additional supplemental watering. Choosing appropriate plant materi-
als, planting them correctly and managing them wisely, ensures a gardens success. Classes
are held at the Citrus County Extension Service building, located at 3650 W Sovereign Path
