Brian Michael Waddell, 33, Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Citrus County Sher-

iff's Office, May 14, charged with grand theft of $300 or more, but less than $5,000; and
resisting officers with violence. His total bond was set at $10,000. Waddell is accused of
              
taking $350 from a man while the man was sleeping. According to the report, Waddell first
      
denied having taken the money, but later stated he'd found it on the victim's driveway.
As he was being taken into custody, Waddell physically resisted two deputies who were
      

both attemting to take him into custody, even after they'd used a taser to subdue him. The
arresting deputy reported that Waddell's pupils were "pinpoint," and he exhibited signs
   
of "excited delerium." When deputies finally gained control of Waddell, EMS examined
him and transported him to an area hospital for evaluation. After he was released from the

hospital, Waddell told deputies that he was not sure why he fought them, but he thought it
was because he'd used Adderall, methamphetamine and cocaine, which are all controlled

substances with stimulating effects, often called "uppers."
Dominque Kwatez Washington, 31, Dunnellon, was arrested by the Citrus County

Sheriff's Office, May 14, charged with petit theft (value less than $100), and burglary of an

unoccupied conveyance. His bond was set at $5,500. Washington is accused of removing
two letters and a magazine from a green Kia Soul that was parked in the parking lot of the
