Citrus Patrol Car Crash Under Investigation

Deputies with the Citrus County Sheriff s Office are investigating a crash involv-
ing a CCSO deputy s K-9 vehicle and a Yamaha motorcycle that occurred on Dawson Drive
in Inverness on the afternoon of April 23. The two riders on the motorcycle were injured
and transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services. The deputy and K-9 were
not injured in the crash. The CCSO s Division of Fire Rescue also responded to the scene of
the crash. Information regarding this incident was not yet available, according to the CCSO
Media Division.

The State of Florida made an unprecedented offer first thing April 22, 2015 in the

said he had never seen anything like it. The offer was to resolve the charge with "no con-
test." This is called a plea of convenience to put this behind oneself. Commissioner White
did not admit to anything and had proclaimed his innocence since day one.

There are no consequences to plead no contest according to Attorney Crawford. There
is no fine, no jail time, no record, no diversion program, no probation. White does not have
