Youth Expo, April 30
The annual Sheriff s Sum-
mer Safety & Youth Expo will be held
on Sat., April 30, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, at
the Citrus County Auditorium located
at 3610 S Florida Ave. in Inverness.
There is no charge for the event, and
there will be activities, resources for
the community, along with give-
aways, such as free string backpacks
filled with goodies and safety coloring
books and crayons, and more. Special
activities and entertainment includes
a Bike Rodeo (kids, wear your hel-
mets), a Special YMCA Healthy Kids
Area, and a Firefighter Challenge for
