VFW Ladies Auxiliary Serves Up Italian

The ladies' DELICIOUS feast included a choice of sausage, pepperoni & onion-stuffed
shells; spaghetti, lasagna, baked ravioli, or lasagna rolls, served with antipasto or tossed

salad, garlic bread or biscuits, dessert (cannolis or chocolate cake), and coffee or iced tea.
Their dinners are open to the public and help raise funds for the post's community programs.
Diners can eat in or take their food out for a nominal donation to the club. Again, you don't
have to be a member of the post or the mens' or ladies' auxiliaries to enjoy the public dinners
they often host.
If you like Mexican food, the ladies are hosting another delicious feast in a couple weeks
in celebration of Cinco De Mayo - see you there!
Current Ladies Auxiliary president, Gladys Gilbert (second from left), has a 20-year history
in government work, including administrative work at the Pentagon, the National War College,
4 years with the Inspector General's office in Alexandria VA and working with new recruits in
Boston, Mass. She and her family, husband Tony and son Scott, lived in Ft. Pierce, FL before
moving to Inglis.
The Big Bass are Back on Lake Rousseau!--So says Harold Beasley of Dunnel-
lon, owner of Beasley Tire Service, Inglis. Harold is showing off this 10 lb. bass he caught
fishing on Lake Rousseay, April 10.
